At Sportking, we are fully conscious of our duties towards society as a responsible corporate citizen. We have a holistic CSR policy in place which aims at helping rural India realize its potential through quality education, health and community development activities. We are working closely with the rural communities surrounding our factories for upliftment of underprivileged sections of the societies in these areas. To achieve our vision of ensuring quality education we have undertaken a CSR project of empowering children in rural areas with high quality education through provision of academic, material and social support. Senior Secondary and elementary Govt. schools located in the villages surrounding our factory are the beneficiaries of this ongoing project.
We realize that sports activities are essential for promotion of healthy and disciplined life among youth. Therefore as part of our CSR activities we have undertaken another project titled “Promotion of sports among youth by extending financial support to sports associations and Govt. sports bodies”. This is also an ongoing project under which we are making financial contributions to various sports bodies for organizing sports activities.
In order to realize our vision of overall improvement in the quality of life of rural communities Sportking aims to undertake projects for community development in the villages. To improve overall health conditions in the rural communities we aim to work with medical establishment to strengthen the infrastructure and to conduct health awareness & check up camps”.
